Thank you very much, Andre is much happier this week. He even had the comic done earlier than usual.

UPDATE!
Thanks to everyone for all your awesome comments and support! Just to clarify a key point, our bald-headed friend Eddie only had a crappy deck built out of textless spells in his pocket when he was whisked away to the world they’re in now. The list he’s running through in today’s top panel is all the removal he has available, all of which is useless against the Sphinx with it’s pro-red/green and the black mana in its cost. The real deck he was playing with at the FNM won’t be making an appearance (at least for some time). We’ll see him get an assist by Jack in the weeks to come, but unfortunately for everyone, Jack isn’t the best player/deckbuilder around.

On a side note, the all-textless-spell deck was an idea I had a while back. It was a vorthos deck for sure, and it sucked (as can be expected). Eddie’s performance is a reflection of that fact. I’m drawing from real life here, folks.
